Why attack Libya and not Syria?
Syria, so opposite to Libya, stands on the feeling of the Arab humanity. Assad has extra contacts and allies to call on. Assad is a dictator, a sponsor of terrorism, and a thug, Pletka thought. You possibly will argue hes worse than Gadhafi. But on Syria, the Arab League is not up for grabs to be there not quite like forward-leaning. Theyre much closer to Assad.
